Star Selbu Cowl Knitting Pattern Only Norwegian Scandinavian Knitted Scarf

A knitting pattern for a beautiful but simple cowl, ideal to knit as gifts.

An aran / worsted cowl, inspired by traditional Norwegian knitting charts but can be knitted in DK or Sport if gauge is achieved. 

This sample is knit in Aran / Worsted weight yarn to a gauge of 22 sts and 26 rows = 4 inches / 10cm in colourwork in the round. 

Finished measurements are 20 inches / 51 cms in circumference, 7.25 inches / 18.5 cms high.
